Since 1976, Rod’s Electric Motor Service has been serving industrial, commercial and residential customers in Cambridge, Brantford and surrounding areas. From sewing machine motors to 700 horsepower industrial motors, we work on all.
OUR HISTORY
Mr. Rod Dill, founder of Rod’s Electric Motor Service, started working for a local company in 1964. His experience and knowledge motivated him to start the business on his own. In the beginning, to get the business running he drove a cab. Besides, his father also helped him in the initial stages of the business.
Finally, Rod’s Electric Motor Service was first settled up in an old soap factory on Water St., south of Concession Street. As it was a prime highway location, many Brantford businesses became regular customers by our exceptional services.
Later, Rod wanted to build a 16,000 square-foot industrial plaza on Bishop St. and move an expanded operation into a 5,000 square-feet unit. And then, he set up his own shop to refurbish motors.
A Simple Belief by Rod
“If you tell somebody, something’s going to be ready at a certain time. It’s got to be ready. Don’t let them down”, Rod said and we follow it in our every job.
